Entrepreneurship Is Easier Than You Thought

What Makes A Person Successful Entrepreneur?

There is no guidebook on how to be a successful entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship isn’t about achieving a successful lifestyle but it rather is a lifestyle. The particular lifestyle is similar to your childhood when things seemed tough to achieve but with time gradually things became achievable. Often at times people see successful entrepreneur and question themselves as to what makes them so different from us. Entrepreneurs are people who have struggled more than an average person and have learnt from that experience. The simple answer is you must struggle to understand the depths of this lifestyle.

Does Being A Successful Entrepreneur Require Business Studies?

Hell No! ask yourself one simple question: Is planting an idea inside someone’s mind difficult? For those of you who answered “No” just wait a moment and for those who answered “Yes” pay close attention to what I have to say next. Let me tell you a short story:
“Once there was a guy on his way to office early morning. He caught a train and sat down near to the door with his cup of coffee. He read the newspaper in his hand and yawned all the way. When he yawned he covered his mouth with his hand. It was only the third time that he yawned and in covering his mouth he accidentally spilled the coffee on to the person next to him. He immediately stood up in apology while the person next to him remained calm and cleared his seat. He explained to the person that since he slept late at night he was yawning and in order to cover his act he spilled the coffee accidentally.”
Well enough of it! 75% of the reader have yawned till now or about to yawn in next 1 minutes. And as I say next 1 minute, there you go some of you yawned just now. It is only because I used the word “Yawn” 4 times in a row and the word activated the act of yawning in your subconscious mind. This is how easy it is to plant an idea inside someone’s head. Human mind is by default a follower, whatever you feed it with will eventually grow. Have you ever observed someone yawn in public and the people who see the person yawning yawn sooner or later? To plant an idea inside someone’s mind is as easy as showing them the act and feeding the words into their mind.

P.S. Good luck playing the yawning trick on people around you. I know it's fun!

Successful Entrepreneur Always Has One Quality

THEY NEVER QUIT. Often people quit at the very first struggle they encounter in their entrepreneurial venture. The key is to be consistent and adapt to the change. I am about to tell you one of the most important tip that will make you a successful entrepreneur i.e. when you mark on this journey be sure to close all the doors behind. If you are working on a job be sure to quit it before you start this venture. No matter how crazy it sounds but that is the reality. Let me quote you all a very famous quote from ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
Blind Prisoner: You do not fear death. You think this makes you strong. It makes you weak.
Bruce Wayne: Why?
Blind Prisoner: How can you move faster than possible, fight longer than possible without the most powerful impulse of the spirit: the fear of death.
Bruce Wayne: I do fear death. I fear dying in here, while my city burns, and there’s no one there to save it.
Blind Prisoner: Then make the climb.
Bruce Wayne: How?
Blind Prisoner: As the child did. Without the rope. Then fear will find you again.
If you recall the heroic scene where Bruce Wayne makes the jump and finally gets out of the prison then you would realize being an entrepreneur is just like being BATMAN. As long as you have a backup plan to fall to that only means you aren’t confident on yourself being a successful entrepreneur. You have let go of your comfort zone and make the leap of faith. Perfect time to recall founder of Linkedin Reid Hoffman’s quote:
“What is an entrepreneur? Someone who jumps off a cliff and builds a plane on the way down.”

Failure Is A Successful Entrepreneur’s Learning Book

Never be afraid to fail. The concept of slow and steady wins the race is down right vague. The concept is based on the story which is one of the most biased story of all time where a Rabbit gets into a race with a tortoise (Like Seriously?). The race fixed and biased to the point that the writer drugged the rabbit to sleep half the way while the tortoise won the race (Real Smooth!). Well my friends if you are still living with that concept of slow and steady then I am afraid you’ll die thinking about what bills to pay next. To be successful one needs to fail countless times. Thomas Edison failed 10,000 times to finally figuring out how to make an electric light bulb. So if the road to success requires you to fail then what are you waiting for? Fail as fast as you can, try something new every time if that doesn’t work then try again until you succeed.

A successful entrepreneur has been through all the above mentioned phases in his or her life. If this sounds vague then how about you pick a successful entrepreneur of your choice and google his/her story to find out that the same pattern exist. Lets conclude this with a famous quote of the movie ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’
“The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.”
